The Theme:  No fairy tale creations here—this VBS theme is drawn right out of the Bible! The journey begins as Adam and Eve leave the lush oasis and enter a life of sin in the desert. After all, if children don't know we have sin, then they won't know their need for a Savior. From there, children see how Moses led the Israelites on a journey through the desert and Jesus was tempted in the wilderness. The week ends with a joyful celebration of the Resurrection and the heavenly home God has prepared for us. At the center of all teachings is our gracious Savior, Jesus Christ.  All Children Preschool to Grade 5 are welcome.  Call the church office for more information, 403-327-4336.

Through individual contributions, Immanuel Lutheran was able tor raise over $10,000 to purchase 10,000 volumes of the New Testament in Comic Book format.  These books tell the Gospel in Spanish and are to be distributed to underprivileged in Nicaragua . Once a month, couples from our church get together for an evening of snacks and socializing over Board Games!  Sometimes we gather at the church, other times our members host.  We usually meet Friday evenings at 7pm.  All couples are invited to come.  (Be sure to find a babysitter for the kids, though.)  Bring a snack to share and your favourite board game.  To  see when and where the next game night is scheduled, check out our events calendar.  Click here.
