Pastor's Message

Picture
Pastor Nathan Fuehrer:

What is it that makes a church?  People?  Yes.  God?  Certainly!  What else?  Well, let me tell you.  A church is a place where God and people come together.  There they meet for the express purpose of worshipping God and being nourished by His presence.  When God’s people come together in one place and gather around his Word and his Gifts, we are given the forgiveness and the faith we need to love one another in the world.  There is more, much more to the life of a Christian and to the life of Immanuel Lutheran Church, but receiving God’s grace in worship--that’s the bottom line.  “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20).   Come and see how we gather together with Jesus at Immanuel.
